If all goes well, you’ll manage to get away for a few days to a small town in the mountains or by the coast, but this will be over before you know it and you also must think about packing, transport, shopping, budgeting, etc. Are there no unique and refreshing activities that all the family can do without having to leave the capital?

Of course, there are! You’re in luck because we’ve put together a list of 5 activities to do in Madrid with your kids this summer that will make you the mum or dad of the year, or at least of the season. Of course, afterwards it will be difficult to top this.

Don’t be fooled by the rubber ring, Rio Loco is a crazy water adventure to enjoy with the whole family. The calm and tranquility of our river will be broken by the tank containing 10,000 litres of water about to tip over. Hold on tight to your rubber ring. The tsunami is just around the corner!

If there’s something that most kids love its competition, speed, and races. So you should stop by Superman: El Vuelo, an attraction that is sure to blow them away. Their jaws will hit the floor immediately and you’ll all enjoy a thrilling ride! This is a water slide with several tracks, so you can compete as a family for first place on a special mat that will allow you to slide at full speed in total safety.

We have a tip for you! 

There are two things you need to rid yourself of on this attraction: fear and compassion. You will all be totally safe, and compassion will not help you win. So now you know... leave the kryptonite aside and go for first place!

At this point you may be wondering what happens to all your belongings while you’re surrounded by so much water. Well, you needn’t worry because the park offers a locker service, so you can safely store all your valuables, such as car keys, smartphones, chargers, or wallets, far away from any splashes of water.
